Ready? Set? Go! Team kick-off

  1. Schedule your first team meeting together with your Supervisor, to set ground rules for teamwork;
  2. Check the Kick-Off team meeting Checklist for this meeting to check if you discussed all important topics;
  3. Request the optional team building assignment via honoursplus@maastrichtuniversity.nl;
  4. Complete the assignment during your Team Kick-Off and request the solution afterwards via honoursplus@maastrichtuniversity.nl;
  5. Schedule regular team meetings and sessions with your Supervisor;

Halfway there: Honours+ Midterm Peer Discussion Evenings

  1. Prepare for the Midterm Peer Discussion Evening by preparing a 2-minute pitch (if you would like to use slides, bring your own laptop with VGA/HDMI connection to connect to the beamer) on the status quo of your Challenge and a problem your team is facing that you would like input on from an expert;
  2. Attend the Midterm Peer Discussion Evening your team is scheduled for;

Halfway there: Schedule the Midterm Feedback Session

Deadline: Between February 23rd and March 25th.

  1. Schedule the Midterm Feedback session with your Supervisor;
  2. Prepare for the meeting by filling out the Gibbs Reflection Practitioning form and send it to your Supervisor prior to the session;
  3. Prepare for the meeting by watching the instructional video and reading the information booklet;
  4. Prepare the cubes (cut-out);
  5. Attend the actual meeting as a team, with the Supervisor present, and make agreements for the second half of the team challenge and your team’s functioning;

  1. Generalize your results. Relate what you have learned on a small scale to the bigger picture;
  2. Provide potential suggestions for further research;
  3. Highlight the potential solution you are offering (applied research challenges), or the new knowledge you added to the already existing knowledge on this topic (theoretical research challenges);
  4. Send a draft to your Supervisor for feedback.

  3. Hand in your poster reimbursement forms and original printing receipts at EDLAB (Wednesday June 1st);
