help Meet the Youngsters expand into the Liege region by developing strategies for a successful market introduction and improving the platform’s candidate-company matching system using both skills and company cultural DNA.

Meet the Youngsters was founded to connect young people in a targeted way to companies in the (Eu)region. Through the platform we show which beautiful companies there are in the (Eu)region, enabling young people to choose a career in the (Eu)region. The platform allows young people to build a network of (Eu)regional companies and companies to build a network of young talent. Young people use this network to find a suitable school assignment, side job, internship, traineeship or starter job.

The Meet the Youngsters database currently includes more than 1.000 companies from the (Eu)region and more than 18.000 young people have already created a profile. These are pupils, students and Young professionals (up to 3 years of work experience) in the Netherlands, Belgium and start-ups in Germany.

We would like PREMIUM students to dive into two questions. Pending on the preference and diligence of the team, we either focus on one question or tackle both of them.

  1. We are expanding to Germany but also to the Liege region. Specifically the region of Liege is unthreaded territory for Meet the Youngsters, with a very different culture as well. How should Meet the Youngsters realize a successful market introduction in that region?
    A successful introduction of Meet the Youngster in the Liege area will give us the opportunity to grow further in het French speaking parts of Belgium and perhaps in France. It also contributes to our unique position in the (Eu)region, being active in all three language area’s and bringing companies and young people together, so that we can reach the full potential of the region and keep young talent in this region.
  2. Part of the Meet the Youngsters platform is a candidate DNA that can be matched with specific competences that a company is looking for. We now also want to realize a company DNA, what are the cultural characteristics of a company? And how can we match those characteristics with a potential future candidate? Can you help us design such a DNA, is that even feasible, what would it look like?

The platform allows young people to build a network of (Eu)regional companies and companies to build a network of young talent. Young people use this network to find a suitable school assignment, side job, internship, traineeship or starter job. Companies can provide a follow-up after the activities, such as guest lessons, escape room, virtual reality experience or other events.

The Meet the Youngsters database currently includes more than 1.000 companies from the (Eu)region and more than 18.000 young people have already created a profile. These are pupils, students and Young professionals (up to 3 years of work experience from VMBO to WO) in the Netherlands, Belgium and start-ups in Germany.

Co-Creator Client

This client might join the team for brainstorm session, meetings and preparatory sessions. The co-creator client is more actively involved in/during the project execution.
