Maastricht University’s Career Services offers a portal, on which you will find online modules, free workshops and other useful resources that will help you to enhance your skills and self-knowledge and to expand your opportunities. Determine your set of skills and talents by understanding yourself, look into your options, and start working on developing your skills. After graduation, you are ready to find a job through our vacancies.

 

Wellbeing & Mental Health

Thriving at university is about more than academics. It is about feeling balanced, energized, and supported as you navigate your personal and professional growth. At PREMIUM, we believe wellbeing is the foundation for success. That’s why we want to make you aware of a wider range of tools, programmes, and communities designed to help you maintain focus, build resilience, and enjoy a fulfilling student experience.

Whether you are looking to boost your mental health, manage stress, connect with peers, or explore mindfulness practices, there’s something here for you. From workshops and peer-support groups to individual guidance and online programmes, these resources are here to help you stay well, energized, and ready to make the most of your time at university.   • Psychological Support by UM Psychologist: The UM psychologists can help you with psychological difficulties such as anxiety, feelings of guilt, gloominess, stress, lack of self-confidence and grief. They can also provide support if you are experiencing relationship problems with your family, friends or partner. They are not able to provide diagnostic services or long-term counselling. For this, they can refer you to additional services.
  • UM Wellbeing Movement: Participate in activities like yoga, creative workshops, and relaxation sessions to enhance your wellbeing.

  • @EASE: Access anonymous, free, and professional peer-to-peer support for mental health concerns.

  • Disability Support: Receive tailored assistance for students with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or neurodivergence, ensuring an inclusive academic experience.

  • Shining a light on giftedness: Engage with initiatives that shed a light on the challenge gifted students deal with, and connect with peers.

  • Mind Health Check: This online questionnaire about mental wellbeing lets you reflect on how you’re really doing. You get detailed feedback on your scores in several domains such as mood or stress, as well as personalised advice and tips for free tools that might be useful to you.
  • MoodLift: Utilize online programs designed to assess and improve your mental wellbeing, helping you manage stress and maintain balance.

  • UM Career Services Personal & Professional Development Portal: UM Career Services offers free trainings and online modules centred around mental health.
  • Circles Innara Coaching: group circles (in-person or online) organized by Michelle Wegter from Innara Coaching, who creates a safe and supportive space where coaching, counseling, and breathwork come together to help you release emotional blockages, gain clarity, and explore new possibilities for your life.
