Harvest Hub: Scaling Sustainable Food Solutions
Harvest Hub is an entrepreneurial café and catering company rooted in our family farm, Lubosch Land, in Limburg. We are passionate about making seasonal, organic, and pesticide-free food accessible to a broad audience. By partnering with local regenerative farmers, we bring sustainable food directly into people’s daily lives, while supporting health, community, and the environment.
Our challenge: how do we expand beyond our first location in Maastricht to increase our impact?
We want to explore how Harvest Hub can scale effectively – through new locations, catering opportunities, and the right organizational model. Should we centralize or decentralize oversight? Consider franchising or alternative models? Where is the greatest market potential, and how can we maximize social, environmental, and economic impact?
This is where PREMIUM students come in. By applying a multidisciplinary approach, you will tackle complex questions around supply chains, market research, health trends, and sustainable growth strategies. Your work will inform concrete recommendations, helping us identify the most promising expansion paths and organizational structures.
The project is not theoretical, since your insights will directly shape real decisions about our next steps. You will contribute to designing a scalable approach that balances impact, efficiency, and sustainability, enabling Harvest Hub to serve more communities, promote healthy eating, and support local regenerative agriculture.
Joining this project means working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and community impact. You will gain hands-on experience in strategic business development, organizational planning, and market analysis, all while helping a real company grow in a meaningful way.
If you are curious, ambitious, and eager to see your ideas make a tangible difference, this project offers a unique opportunity to combine creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for sustainability. One bowl at a time, we can change the food system together.
