AXA Konzern AG

Develop a framework to assess and monitor AI readiness and maturity across departments, in order to understand where cultural, organizational, or governance gaps exist and how they can be addressed.

The Project

The Project

AXA is one of the world’s leading insurance groups. In Germany, AXA Konzern AG employs over 8,000 people and serves around 7.4 million customers. But we are more than a corporation, we are an employer with vision. Recognized as a Leading Employer 2025, AXA Germany combines scale and reliability with innovation, creativity, and a people-centered culture.

Our challenge: Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how organizations operate. For us, the question is not only whether departments are ready to adopt AI, but also ho far they have advanced in their maturity: in skills, culture, governance, and trust. What we currently want to further develop is a holistic and continuous way to evaluate these dimensions across the company.

As a PREMIUM student team, you will design a framework or methodology to assess AI readiness and maturity across departments. You will explore what drives or hinders progress and translate your insights into a practical tool and roadmap.

This project offers you the chance to work on a strategic, future-oriented challenge at the intersection of technology, people, and organizational transformation—with real impact on one of Europe’s largest insurers.
