The NRO Comenius funding programme for education innovation projects has inspired a number of UM educators to send in their innovative proposals. NRO will only communicate the awarded grants in April, yet irrespectively of that result, EDLAB organised a lunch session today to learn from each other’s proposals and share procedural experiences.
Together with the applicants, UM Rector Rianne Letschert, and education policy advisors we also explored ways to build a UM Comenius community. Such community already exists on a national level of which last year’s UM-Comenius grant winner, Anique de Bruin (FHML), is a member. Anique shared her success story and emphasised the importance for UM of having a close link to the national Comenius community, if only to underpin UM’s innovative potential.
