EDLunch Host<\/strong> Digital Exams in TestVision<\/strong> Would you like to have a digital exam for your course? Are you curious about the benefits and limitations?<\/p>\n At this session we will give a short demo of the TestVision software, and front runners Kai Jonas (FPN) and Aniek Hommels will tell you about their first experiences with digital exams.<\/p>\n Can\u2019t wait until March? Take a look at the teachers\u2019 information on the digital exams website<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n This session for UM teaching staff is for free. It will take place at EDLAB, TAPX (Building X, Sint Hubertuslaan 12), room 1.014 and includes lunch. The session will be given in English.\u00a0 The session with questions usually lasts from 12-1pm and for those interested in discussing or networking for longer there will be time until 1:30pm.<\/p>\n If you have specific dietary requirements we should be aware of, please contact us by email<\/a>.<\/p>\n In case of cancellation, please inform us as soon as possible because of catering arrangements.<\/strong><\/p>\n EDLAB reserves the right to postpone this event should a minimum of 6 participants not be reached.<\/p>\n

\nAs of October 2019 UM offers large scale digital exam facilities at the MECC conference centre, using Chromebooks and the TestVision software. Digital exams open up new possibilities for the content of your exam, with options and question formats that are not possible on paper. There are also practical advantages: typing eliminates the illegible handwriting in open-ended questions, and you can save time by having the software do the work for you, such as generating different versions of the same exam and automatic grading of closed questions.<\/p>\n
