Changes often occur based on own experiences, student feedback forms or conversations with colleagues. Even though these are valuable sources, we invite you to dig deeper during our &#8220;Course Design Studio&#8221; at EDLAB,\u00a0returning after a successful first edition last year.<\/p>\n<p>Join us and go back to the core of course design while also looking ahead and adapting your course for more current or even future challenges like the continuous developments related to Generative AI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Course Design Studio aims for the following structure and set-up:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Both individual course coordinators as well as additional course planning members (hereafter the course planning team) are welcome to join. All participants should register individually below.<\/li>\n<li>Course Design Studio takes place at EDLAB from 6 to 9 July 2026, and participation is <strong>free of charge.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Each day we start at 09.00. Catering and lunch each day are included.<\/li>\n<li>This activity may count towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) if relevant to your situation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>By the end of this week, participants will be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse current trends and developments in higher education to identify the most relevant topics and themes for their course (re)design for the new academic year 2026-2027,<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate their existing courses to determine which components may require revision or enhancement,<\/li>\n<li>Apply principles of effective course design to redesign selected components of their courses to improve future relevance and impact,<\/li>\n<li>Summarise and communicate their key takeaways, inspirations and proposed course changes in a clear and structured wrap-up presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can register via the registration form below. You will have the opportunity to indicate any accessibility requirements after registration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note about the costs<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>EDLAB is currently offering all professional development activities free of charge. Please note, however, that we have paid to develop and offer this session together with the trainers, so if you sign up but cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate it if you could give us at least 5 days\u2019 notice so that we can advertise your spot to others who may be interested.
