But how do you balance openness with high expectations?<\/p>\n<p>This interactive workshop explores the link between psychological safety and high-performance standards, drawing on Amy Edmondson\u2019s research and your own real-life experiences.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll gain practical strategies to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Encourage open discussions while upholding academic rigour<\/li>\n<li>Approach sensitive topics like geopolitical conflicts, personal vulnerability, and cultural differences with confidence<\/li>\n<li>Create a learning environment where students feel both supported and challenged<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>T<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">hrough hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, you\u2019ll discover techniques to build trust, engagement, and resilience in the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>About the trainer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3472 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/edlab.nl\/slottr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Laurence.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"109\" height=\"164\" \/>Laurence van der Vuurst of\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.downsideupacademy.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"Downsideup Academy (opens a new tab)\">Downsideup Academy<\/a>\u00a0will lead this session. Please note however that we have paid to develop and offer this session together with the trainers, so if you sign up but cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate it if you could give us at least 5 days\u2019 notice so that we can advertise your spot to others who may be interested.
