{"id":283,"date":"2019-01-08T11:14:38","date_gmt":"2019-01-08T11:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edlab.nl\/slottr\/?page_id=283"},"modified":"2019-09-09T13:01:53","modified_gmt":"2019-09-09T13:01:53","slug":"creating-and-using-rubrics-for-assessment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/edlab.nl\/slottr\/creating-and-using-rubrics-for-assessment\/","title":{"rendered":"CPD: Creating and using rubrics for assessment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>17 September 2019<br \/>\n10:00h &#8211; 12:00h<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creating and using rubrics for assessment<br \/>\n<\/strong>Rubrics and scoring sheets can make the assessment process more consistent, transparent and easier for you as an instructor and assessor.\u00a0 They can also help you to provide effective feedback to students.\u00a0 But there are so many different types of grading sheets and rubric designs to choose from, how do you know which would suit your assignments and students the best?\u00a0 This workshop offers you the opportunity to test out and evaluate a few different rubric types, discuss your needs and consider which types of rubrics suit your courses.\u00a0 Tips about rubric development, their implementation and scoring will be discussed and there will be time to share practical experiences within the group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target audience<br \/>\n<\/strong>Those wanting to know more about the creation and use of rubrics for assessing student work (examiners, course coordinators, board of examiner members, tutors).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration<br \/>\n<\/strong>1 x 2 hour interactive workshop<\/p>\n<p><strong>Costs<br \/>\n<\/strong>41 euros per person<\/p>\n<p>Your faculty will be billed directly for this training but your registration requires a budget number to be submitted upfront.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cancellation fees<br \/>\n<\/strong>For participants who cancel their registration from a workshop or a course, within fewer\u00a0than ten working days before the start,\u00a0their administrative unit will be charged 25% of the cost price.
