RACI workshop

The RACI Matrix workshop

Division of roles and responsibilities in UM governance: the RACI matrix as a tool to improve clarity and commitment in complex educational processes

3-hour training by E. Radulova

This workshop provides an introduction to the RACI matrix as a tool for delineation of roles and responsibilities in complex (educational) work environments, where multiple actors have to collaborate. We start with a brief explanation of the RACI framework and its origins and application to project management. Afterwards, the participants are invited to apply the tool to the practices taking place within their faculties.

This session is especially useful for those new to university management (such as programme directors or educational coordinators) or those who play a role in a UM board or committee, such as an Educational Programme Committee (EPC), BoE (Board of Examiners) or the Faculty/University Council.

If you are interested in signing up for this workshop, we’d also like you to tell us more about your role at UM and any uncertainties you may have experienced in the various roles and responsibilities you have encountered. You will be asked to provide this information after signing up, so please bear this in mind.
