CPD Teaching Observation Trajectory 2024-2025

CPD Teaching Observation Trajectory 2024-2025

Kick-off: Mon 23 September 2024 14:00-17:00

Closing: Mon 7 April 2025 14:00-17:00

Description

“Een kijkje in de keuken” is a Dutch phrase which literally translates to “A look in the kitchen”. It is used metaphorically to mean getting a behind-the-scenes insight into how something is done.  That’s exactly what we want to offer you during our CPD teaching observation trajectory this academic year.

Observing a colleague teaching can provide new ideas for stimulating a positive and engaging learning experience, facilitating different group activities and managing group dynamics. Being observed yourself, can also give you valuable feedback. So join us on the 23rd of September for our kick-off session where you’ll meet likeminded colleagues, form small groups and plan your observations for this year.

Please note: To complete the trajectory, you are also expected to attend our closing event on the 7th of April, where you’ll share what you have learned and reflect upon would you might like to do differently in your future education.

When you register, you will receive two outlook invitations, one for the kick-off and one for the closing session. With the small groups that you form during the kick-off  meeting, you are expected to organise your own observations and feedback meetings.
