Maastricht University Book on Research-Based Learning receives international attention in Book Review

Earlier this year, experts from Maastricht University released a book on Research-Based Learning titled Research-Based Learning: Case studies from Maastricht University.  EDLAB’s own Ellen Bastiaens has written and edited the book along with Jonathan van Tilburg and Jeroen van Merriënboer, colleagues at Maastricht University and experts on the topic. Here you can read more about the content of the book.

We are happy to announce that in the short time period that has passed since the release of the book, the book has attracted international attention, and is now portrayed in a book review written for the journal Scholarship and Practice of Undergraduate Research (SPUR) by Susan Berry Brill de Ramírez from Bradley University, Illinois.

The review can be read in its entirety here.

At Maastricht, it was understood that successful research requires a substantive commitment –
