Fashionclash

Develop an alternative method to organize the selection process of Fashionclash participants in a decentralized and inclusive manner.

The Project

The Project

FASHIONCLASH is a hybrid development and presentation platform for fashion and an international network of fashion practitioners and initiatives.

FASHIONCLASH initiates, produces and presents projects and work by a new generation of designers and artists that investigate, reflect, contextualize and celebrate contemporary fashion (culture). With its activities, FC functions on the one hand as a platform for innovative, cross-disciplinary, investigative and sustainable practitioners and on the other as a platform for ethical discourse and dialogue with a broad audience.

As an international and interdisciplinary platform, FASHIONCLASH has always been trying to run as broad and diverse a practice as possible. Now we are at the point that we are investing time in developing new methodologies to install intersectional and inclusive participations in our projects.
We are creating a more holistic and decentralized approach to our practice aimed to create projects with more positive impact on people, nature and planet. Eventually to a more sustainable fashion industry for which we believe that there is no sustainable industry without racial and gender justice.

How can we develop an alternative method to organize the process of selecting participants in a decentralized and inclusive manner, so that we can contribute to multivocality (multi-voiced program).

Research-oriented

In this project, the focus is on “discovering something new”
