Stedin is a regional grid provider: We provide the infrastructure to deliver gas and electricity to households and businesses. As such, we play a critical role in enabling the energy transition. Which also means that our job is evolving rapidly over the next decade. The ability of our colleagues to adapt to these changes (in other words, their “change-ability”) will be put to the test. Gaining insight in the current and general change-ability of teams and individuals affected by our projects will help us be more effective at prioritizing and implementing our portfolio.
We foresee several possible outcomes of this PREMIUM project. For example, knowing the change-ability of a team, we might be able to pace our implementation roadmap accordingly. In another scenario, we might approach potential project team members who have a high change-ability and are therefore able to absorb the accompanying changes. Or we might be able to intervene in a team facing decreased change-ability. Either way, having better insight in our “change-ability” and having tools at our disposal to intervene will help us make better informed decisions regarding our project portfolio. In the bigger picture, more effective projects will help us achieve a timely energy transition which contributes to a more sustainable society.
As a member of our PREMIUM team, you will be creating insight in the change-ability of a team. We will use this insight to pace our implementation roadmap, decide on resources for planned projects, and identify teams that need additional support to absorb unavoidable changes. It will help our Change Office make better informed decisions, and in the bigger picture this project will contribute to making the energy transition happen which contributes to a more sustainable society. At the end of the project, we would like our PREMIUM team to present the results in a company-wide “deep dive”, providing you with considerable visibility within the company.
