ING & MUMC+

Investigate the eco-systems that surround ING’s clients in healthcare and elderly care to further map out how these eco-systems drive innovations that can benefit and empower the institutes operating in this eco-system.

The Project

The Project

The department of ING involved is Public & Health Care, situated in Amsterdam. Our clients in these particular sectors/domains are forced to innovate in order to keep their financial and organisational performances in line. We expect that these innovations will be developed in the surrounding eco-systems of our clients. Which eco-systems do surround our clients at this moment and which eco-systems are expected to surround them in the next years?

The playing field of companies and institutions which are developing and implementing innovations (e-Health applications and laborsaving applications/techniques) for three subsectors in Care and Cure (hospitals, elderly care and recovery care) is broad and not logically ordered, according to both ING and MUMC+.

MUMC+ wants to distinguish the promising innovations in order to:

  1. possibly implement these in their medical treatments, and
  2. inform the Care and Cure institutions in the district of MUMC+ about these promising innovations;

ING wants to be part of the eco-system companies/institutions with promising innovations in order to:

  1. empower our clients in their business, and
  2. expand/built up business in this eco-system.

We need the help from motivated PREMIUM students to research and map out the eco-systems that surround our clients in healthcare and elderly care, and investigate how these eco-systems drive innovations that might affect or benefit the players in the field.
