We are pleased to share with you that Anique de Bruin has received a Comenius Teaching Fellow Grant from Dutch Minister of Education Jet Bussemaker on March 6. A grant of 50,000 euro has been awarded to her project that promotes equal opportunities for students in higher education. A total of 92 proposals were sent in by Dutch higher education institutes. De Bruin is one of the five Teaching Fellows to be awarded with a grant. De Bruin will use this grant to develop a training that allows students to improve their self-study skills. Her project will be supported by all UM faculties and coordinated by EDLAB.

Dr. Anique de Bruin is an associate professor in Educational Psychology at the School of Health Professions Education, FHML, Maastricht University.
